Better than Germany.

New York State receives 35% more solar irradiation than Germany, where PV is already booming. Moreover, the northeastern U.S. allows more annual PV output (1,229 vs. 960 kWh/kWp) and faster energy payback time (2.02 vs. 2.63 years). (2) If PV can flourish there, it can flourish here.
